If you're a frequent traveler and are looking for the best accommodations, maybe it's time to buy timeshare for yourself. Unlike days past, today's timeshares are flexible and exchangeable so that you can look forward to welcoming accommodations nearly everywhere you'd like to travel. For the habitual traveler, they're a good way to get great accommodations every time.
Let me ask you a question. If you bought a nice car, would you leave it in the middle of the street alone by itself, unguarded or would you lock it up at night so that no one could steal it?
I m sure the answer is the latter. So, why is luggage any different? If you have nice luggage that you would like to protect, this article is for you...
Like nice clothing, good luggage should be considered an investment. And, like all investments, your luggage needs to be taken care of...so, here are 3 tips on how to take better care of your bags when you are away from home...(and by the way, if you spend the money to maintain your luggage, you won t be re spending that money again at another time that s advice you can take to the bank).
To begin with, when you travel, many jet set travelers want to look as good as possible & showing off your luggage is one way to do so. However, your luggage is like a car...and as any person who s a car fanatic will tell you, you want to balance fashion with maintenance. While it may be nice to look good in a car, the best cars need to be maintained too... quality luggage is no different...
1) To begin with, consider taping up everything that you can. Those loose zippers & pockets can turn into big problems & your luggage will protected on the plane.
The reality is that a lot of luggage gets mishandled when it s thrown around by air workers & zippers can easily get caught by the different machines & conveyer belts. You don t want to find out that your new bags have lost 50 of their zippers just a few months after you buy them. Take steps to protect your bags.
2) File claims with the airline if your luggage DOES get damaged. Many airlines allow you to file claims with them if your luggage gets returned to you severely damaged. Take a look at your bags after you get off your flight. Get whatever is wrong with your bags fixed quick so that they don t get even more damaged from loose zippers & cuts which can get worse rapidly if they aren t taken care of.
3) Use a ribbon to mark your bag instead of a magic marker. Yes, it can be confusing to know which bag is yours when it comes off the carousel...
But, if you tie a colored ribbon on your bag to identify it, you will be happier than you d be with a bag that has giant black marks down the side of it. Invest in $20 worth of ribbon to make your bag stand out for when it comes off of the plane.
Investing in high end, functional, strong, & durable luggage is one of the best investments you can make & you should strive to maintain it. Use these 3 tips to keep your bags looking new & you will be well on your way to looking as good as possible when you travel & you will save lots of money too.
