Timeshares as Alternative Accommodations
If you're a frequent traveler and are looking for the best accommodations, maybe it's time to buy timeshare for yourself. Unlike days past, today's timeshares are flexible and exchangeable so that you can look forward to welcoming accommodations nearly everywhere you'd like to travel. For the habitual traveler, they're a good way to get great accommodations every time.
A Son Bou villa holiday is a bit like the Goldilocks, looking for something that is “just right”. It is perfect for the whole family and you can be certain that both children and adults alike will find plenty to do in this seaside destination. Here are just a few ideas on how to spend time on your Son Bou holidays, with a little something for every member of the family.
Mum
Most mums would be perfectly content on their Son Bou holidays just putting their feet up and relaxing with a glass of wine on the balcony of their Son Bou villa.
But whilst spending quality time relaxing and enjoying the lack of household chores is all very well, we’re sure that Mum would also enjoy some time spent alone in the Cova d’en Xoroi. These magical natural caves, located just 15 minutes from Son Bou, are cut deep into the edge of the coastal cliffs and include a network of walkways and terrace bars. The caves have an ethereal feel to them during the evening, they are also the perfect place for Mum to spend a morning on her Son Bou holidays simply relaxing with a mug of coffee and listening to the ambient music whilst gazing out at the incredible views of the pounding Mediterranean below.
Dad
Dads can be history buffs so we’re certain that the town of Torre d’en Gaumes would be a hit with many fathers on their Son Bou holidays. The talayotic village certainly makes a change from the sleek Son Bou villas which can be found on the beachfront. But considering that these caves date back to the prehistoric period it’s really of no surprise that the dwellings don’t quite match up to their modern counterparts. Although prehistoric remains can be found all over Menorca, Torre d’en Gaumes is believed to be the largest settlement and the gathering point for many ancient ceremonies. The site also contains a hill dotted with fallen taulas and capitals which are bound to fascinate Dad on his Son Bou holidays.
Eldest Child
The Maze is the perfect place to spend a day whilst on your Son Bou holidays, but when darkness falls then things really begin to get interesting. During the confines of a wooden maze, customers must collect items and get their cards stamped whilst putting up with a couple of surprises en route. This may sound easy enough during the day but when night falls customers may find themselves being chased by ghosts, witches and zombies. If all this sounds a little too scary then stick to exploring the maze during the daytime when fairies and magicians provide a more pleasant distraction on your Son Bou holidays.
Youngest Child
The family friendly golden beach is, for many people, the main reason for choosing a Son Bou Villa. With its warm sea and plethora of family activities it is easily possible to spend a whole day enjoying the longest beach on the island. Son Bou has plenty of activities for water sports enthusiasts to enjoy, but it is also safe enough for small children to paddle in. There are a number of tourist shops located alongside the seafront selling plastic buckets and spades and everything you need to make your Son Bou holiday extra special.
