Timeshares as Alternative Accommodations
If you're a frequent traveler and are looking for the best accommodations, maybe it's time to buy timeshare for yourself. Unlike days past, today's timeshares are flexible and exchangeable so that you can look forward to welcoming accommodations nearly everywhere you'd like to travel. For the habitual traveler, they're a good way to get great accommodations every time.
Staying in a Son Bou villa whilst on a Menorca holiday will allow for a relaxing, tranquil and revitalising experience. With the glorious Mediterranean sun, sea and cuisine, you can’t go too far wrong if you plan a Son Bou Holiday. Here is a description of a typical day when staying in Son Bou.
Wake Up in your Villa
As dawn breaks, you can wake up in comfort and style in your Son Bou villa. You can rise at leisure, where magnificent views of the resort await you. Sit on your terrace and gaze out over the ocean and beachside wetland area while you enjoy your morning coffee. And if you need a refreshing wake up, take a dip in your pool, all the while enjoying the fresh ocean air.
Stroll Down to the Beach
Son Bou proudly boasts the longest beach in Menorca, and how better to begin any day than with a stroll along the shore whilst on a Son Bou holiday? You can wander along the water’s edge for 2.5km on this superb stretch of beach, and you will reach secluded, quieter spots just 10 minutes walk from the main beach area.
If your Son Bou villa is situated in the resort of San Jaime, the beach will only be a few minutes walk from your front door, and you can be on the beach minutes after waking up.
Daytime Activities
The day is all yours when on a Son Bou holiday, and a range of activities await you. You could spend a quiet couple of hours in the fascinating Basilica de Son Bou graveyard, an ancient and historical site. Or you could wander aimlessly through the giant maze, as the warm sun makes for a pleasant atmosphere.
If you want to explore the history of the island further still, you can visit Toree d’en Galmés, situated not far out of Son Bou’s centre. Dating back to Bronze Age, you can wander beneath ancient stone archways, as you admire the views of the island below, a cultural way to spend your time on a Son Bou holiday.
Seafood for Lunch?
After the morning’s activities you will more than likely be ready for a sumptuous Menorcan seafood lunch. Many of the local restaurants provide excellent local seafood dishes, and you can try the popular local dish, Paella, too. Whether it’s lobster or octopus you’re after, the fresh seafood you will find on your Son Bou holiday is sure to be superb.
Into the Evening
You may wish to take a siesta after your delicious seafood lunch, or simply while away the afternoon on a sun lounger on your villa deck, getting up only to take a dip in the pool. As the evening draws near, the exciting nightlife of Son Bou awaits you. You can begin your evening with cocktails at Bou Hai, as you enjoy the pink sunset whilst sipping a fresh fruit daiquiri, marking the beginning of your evening on a Son Bou holiday.
If a night out dancing tickles your fancy, Discoteca Son Bou is ready and waiting. You can dance the night away at the disco, or head to one of Son Bou’s later night bars, such as Moijito or Casablanca. Whatever you decide, you can enjoy your night in the happy knowledge that your Son Bou villa is only a short walk away, and your relaxing day will start all over again in the morning.
