Timeshares as Alternative Accommodations
If you're a frequent traveler and are looking for the best accommodations, maybe it's time to buy timeshare for yourself. Unlike days past, today's timeshares are flexible and exchangeable so that you can look forward to welcoming accommodations nearly everywhere you'd like to travel. For the habitual traveler, they're a good way to get great accommodations every time.
With a coastline as big as Brazil’s, a tropical beachside paradise is certainly not hard to find. So why not spend a few days whilst on your Brazil vacation package relaxing on the lively north of the island, which mixes bustling beachside bars, with quaint fishing villages and rolling sand dunes. Here are a few of our favourite beaches for a North Coast Brazil beach holiday:
Ponta Negra
Ponta Negra is one of the best known beaches on the north coast, and if it’s a vibrant nightlife you’re after, then this area is definitely worth visiting on your Brazil holidays. The beach stretches down from Morro Do Careca, a combination of dunes, greenery and sea, and extends to the north along Erivan Franca, a crowded area resplendent with restaurants, bars and nightclubs. In this area of Brazil, Wednesday night is the premier night for partying, and mid week, the boulevard heaves with people out to enjoy the evening entertainment on their Brazil tours. Brazilian food is served in the many tents dotted around the main beach and a traditional sight on this otherwise urbanised beach are the multi coloured jangada fishing boats which are typical of the north east region.
Itacare Beach
The unspoilt Itacare beach is pretty much the polar opposite of Ponta Negra, and will definitely appeal to the tourist looking for ecological options on their Brazil tours. The resort is currently hidden between the Atlantic Rainforest, the Rio Das Contas River and, of course, the ocean. It was left unspoilt for so long because of the cocoa trees surrounding the coast which have to be cultivated in the shade. However, the decline of Brazil’s cocoa culture in the 1940s left the beach to be abandoned until it was rediscovered by tourism decades later. Itacare beach is also considered by surfers to be one of the best places in the country to indulge in their favourite past time, and there are many dedicated surf boutiques and shops surrounding the local area. Every day at sunset, a Capoeira presentation takes place on the left hand side of the rocks. This ancient art form combines music, dance and martial arts, and with the sun setting behind the performers, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into paradise on your Brazil holidays.
Boa Vigem Beach
The Boa Vigem beach may be backed by a sprawling metropolis of buildings, but it is by no means as populated as the lively Ponta Negra. The 7km beach remains protected from strong currents by a natural reef, which you can observe and walk on during low tide. Boa Vigem is considered, by many people on their Brazil tours, to be something of a gourmet paradise. This is due to the large number of ‘ambulantes’ which walk up and down the beach selling food. For a token amount, you can sample fresh oysters, cashew nuts, ice cream, fresh fruit and fried shrimps amongst other delicacies. However, the culinary highlight of your Brazil holiday is certain to be the codornas’ egg. This tiny egg belonging to a Brazilian bird is said to have strong aphrodisiac qualities, but should be sampled on your Brazil tour for the taste alone. Once you’ve had your fill of gourmet Brazilian specialities, you may want to make your way to the beaches volleyball courts. Volleyball is one of the most popular sports in the country and the perfect way to burn off all that deliciosio Brazilian food.
